A little back ground on my and my purpose here at Blogger

A little history behind who I am:

Hi everyone, my name is Wayne. I am a lifelong musician and have played guitar and bass in a few bands over the course of the last 27 years. I have had a love of music ever since I could remember! I remember being just a young kid and listening to Hank Williams Sr. and Johnny Horton at my Great Grandpa's house. That eventually graduated to bands such as the Steve Miller Band, Fog Hat, Kiss, Styx, UFO, Scorpions..etc.

I went through a stage of liking Disco and some Hip Hop which back in the day was called Rap Music.. ha ha!

Along came the 80's... I got into Hairband metal / rock with band such as Krokus, Ratt, Dokken, Van Halen, Guns n Roses.. etc..

I started playing guitar in 1985 and graduated to playing Bass in 1988 and my love for the bass guitar grew from there..

Over the years I have contracted a musicians desease only known by musicians and the medical term is G.A.S. which stands for Gear Acquisition Syndrome... Another words, as a musican I am always looking for new sounds, and in turn I am always aware of and up to date on musical gear in my search for that next sound that will make me sound different..

So I have owned tons of gear, some great and others not so great, both bass gear & guitar gear.. I dabble in Keyboards as well and have a limited knowledge in that perspective.. My brother is a drummer in my band www.stonezeroband.com so I have a limited but extensive knowledge and resource through him..

I will be utilizing my blogging skills to give reviews of music equipment, tips & tricks of the trade, Q & A on anything musician, equipment or industry.
